Events of interest to the Region.

Congratulations to Region K chapters ON-N North Bay and ON-T Timmins for a wonderful Rendezvous rally in North Bay this year! We all had a great time. Photos are forthcoming and will be posted in the Gallery.

Congratulations also to our new Region K Couple of the Year, Pierre and Nicole Hunter pictured at left. Pierre and Nicole are from Chapter QC-Q Vaudreuil-Dorion. After starting QC-Q several years ago, Pierre and Nicole were its first chapter directors. Since stepping down as chapter directors last year, they have been very active in their chapter and the region. In 2005 and 2006, Pierre was instrumental as the Master of Ceremonies at Rendezvous 2005 and 2006 in Limoges, near Ottawa. Nicole and Pierre: we wish you all the best in the coming year, and look forward to seeing you at our various chapters whenever you get the chance. Bon Voyage!

Region K would also would like to express its appreciation to all who attended, especially those from "far away". In particular, we enjoyed entertaining members from the United States such as the recently chosen International Couple of the Year, Rita and Ken Moffitt, and the Wing World editor, Sharon Stanley. Please stay tuned for the location of next year's Rendezvous!

The Gold Wing Road Riders Association is the world's largest social organization dedicated to owners and riders of Honda Gold Wing and Valkyrie motorcycles.  But membership is not limited to owners of Gold Wings and Valkyries; members ride a wide variety of makes and models of motorcycles, and, in fact, ownership of a motorcycle is not even  necessary to participate in or to be a member of GWRRA.

For administrative purposes, the GWRRA is divided into 13 regions around the world, and numerous districts and local chapters.  This website attempts to bring together GWRRA members from across a vast area of Canada from Manitoba to Quebec known as Region K or Central Canada.  We encourage potential members to check us out first.  On these web pages you'll find contact information for every local and regional director and officer within Region K. If you're considering joining GWRRA, we encourage you to contact your local chapter directors or assistant chapter directors.  But you're welcome to contact any of us. We're all friendly people with a love of motorcycling and look forward to meeting you. Please enjoy your stay with us, and we hope that you, too, will join with us as Friends for Fun, Safety, and Knowledge.
